Bar Codes
It is recommended that Residents and Non-Resident Members purchase bar codes for each of their vehicles as well as bar codes for their permanent guests.
Bar codes are good for as long as the registered vehicle belongs to the Resident/Member. If the vehicle is sold or traded, a new bar code purchase is necessary. Bar codes are not transferable from one vehicle to another.
Bar codes become inactive if a resident moves from Bermuda Run and is no longer a resident or a member. Any guest bar codes registered to a former resident also become inactive at the same time.
If a non-resident member terminates membership, bar codes become inactive as well as any guest bar codes registered to this non-resident member.

Building Permits/Inspections
The Town of Bermuda Run contracts out the issuance of Building Permits and Building Inspections to Davie County.
The Building Permits/Inspections office is located at 172 Clement Street, Mocksville, NC. For additional information, please contact their office at 753-6050.
Local Ordinances
Animal Control - All dogs must be kept on the owners premises or on a leash if off the owners premises.
Construction Site Refuse - All construction contractors will provide on site refuse receptacles for construction debris and other trash.
Discharge of Firearms - It is unlawful for any person to discharge a firearm within the Town of Bermuda Run (except: in defense of person or property; under lawful direction of law enforcement officers; by licensed persons lawfully engaged in pest control; or, at historic ceremonial or commemoration functions).
Nuisances - The following conditions are considered public nuisances and are unlawful:
- any breeding ground or harbor for rats or other pests;
- a dense growth of weeds or other noxious vegetation over twelve (12) inches in height;
- any concentration of combustible items (boxes, paper, automobile tires, garbage, brush, old clothes or rags;
- open storage of garbage, food waste, animal waste, or any other rotten matter;
- outdoor storage of furniture, appliances or metal products of any kind that have jagged or sharp edges that could injure children playing, or which have doors with locks that could trap children inside;
- any type of trash which blocks, hinders or obstructs in any way the natural flow of surface waters, ditches or which clogs drains that create pools of stagnant water.
Open Burning - No open burning except as allowed by a permit. Permits are issued at Town Hall.

The Town of Bermuda Run has a tax rate of 15 cents per 100. The last revaluation was in 2000. For tax questions, please contact the Davie County Tax Supervisor located at 123 South Main Street, Mocksville, NC 27028 by calling 753-6130.

The Davie County Water Department bills for all water and/or sewer charges in the Town of Bermuda Run.

Zoning Laws & Permits
The Town of Bermuda Run issues zoning permits for all new construction, renovations, signs, and grading. A complete application must be submitted and the required fees paid in full prior to issuance of any zoning permit. A zoning permit from the Town of Bermuda Run must be obtained before requesting a building permit from the Davie County Inspections Office.
